Online college? You might as well write “college” on a piece of toilet paper and use that for your degree.

Try California InterContinental University as it has scholarships!! http://www.caluniversity.com

The best online programs are at the best colleges. People that dismiss online education without any other thought are generally stuck in 1981 – this is 2009. Everyone and his brother teaches online these days including the likes of Harvard, Oxford, Columbia, Cornell, UC-Berkeley, Berklee Music, UCLA, Stanfard, Duke, UNC, Texas, Florida, UMass, and 1000′s more.

Your choices extend far beyond those “as seen on TV college” and into some of the finest universities in the world. The degree is valued according to the reputation of the college that awarded it, not whether it was online or classroom.

You don’t tell us what subject you’re looking for and what level of study. It’d be hard to point to one college as being “best” in all areas.

How about this one – http://www.umassonline.net/ or this one – http://www.unex.berkeley.edu/online/ or, if you’re into music, it doesn’t get any better than http://www.berkleemusic.com/

If you want a master’s in International Human Rights Law done online, why not Oxford? Some people say they’re among the best in the world. Hardly an oxymoron. http://humanrightslaw.conted.ox.ac.uk/MStIHRL/index.php

Online education is the way things will be done from here on in many subjects.
