What are the colleges I should apply to in California, LA?
I want to apply for college in California. (specially LA) I could major in Business management or Interior designing. What are the colleges and universities I should apply to?. Ia lso have to obtain my visa to go to US and they tend to reject it if you’re enrolling for a community college cause they say that international student do not study well in community colleges. (They prefer a university with four year education) :S.

Are your plans realistic? Do you know International Students are required to pay the entire cost of their education, which might cost more than $200,000?
No, actually a lot of international students got student visas even in community college. They told me that since they have to pay more, they study harder to get “their money’s worth” Many of the students actually have really good grades.
If you want to apply for universities in LA only, you can try CSU LA, CSU Long Beach, San Diego State, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly Pomona, University of San Diego (private school) and University of Southern California (private school) The state universities tend to be easier to get into than USC and USD, but their business management programs are just average. Also, you should consider going to a community college first and finish your 2 years cuz you can try to transfer to a better school that way. Try applying for the visa with the community college first. Don’t limit yourself to LA only because there aren’t that many very good business management schools there and is considered affordable (I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT). The only one in LA that has a true business management program is University of Southern California, but it will cost at least $40,000 a year. The CSU’s are just average and you still have to pay more as an international student Other states have very good business schools, so you should consider those.
