I’m stuck and I don’t know what to do. I have under a 2.0 GPA at Hunter College and then took a semester off and now they’re deciding if they will take me back. I want to get into John Jay College but they won’t accept me because I have under a 2.0 GPA. What should I do? Here is a list of what I think I can do but don’t know if it’s the correct way please help me.

1) Go to a Community such as BMCC apply as non-degree student, raise GPA and transfer to John Jay.
2) Go to a Community such as BMCC apply as a degree student but transfer to John Jay once I get over a 2.0 GPA
3) Go to John Jay apply as a non-degree student and boost GPA and then apply as a degree student.

But my question is….if I apply to John Jay as a non-degree student will I be able to become a degree student? Or the GPA won’t count because I was a non-degree?

I need serious consulting but no one seems to be able to help me at Hunter College or John Jay college. What should I do? I regret messing up in my early days now I want to put all my effort in school and get a bachelor degree. Please help me.
