I’m looking at putting some lettering on the side of a box truck. How feasible and possible would it be to use the ‘weeded’ material as well as the lettering? I mean, use the letter outling as the lettering for one side, and then the actual letters on the other side, to eliminate waste and save on vinyl material.

I have an old hp 7580b that I recently bought at an auction, that I’m planning on using for the lettering. The letters will be about 14″ and the plotter only cuts 4′ sections a a time.

Blue painters tape works great for transfer.

We personally prefer the Ultra Rite High Tack transfer tape with the Oracal 631 vinyl. It has the perfect stickiness … Transfer tape can be obtained from many suppliers, in many widths and lengths. Just jot us an email, and we can share more.
