Apply Colleges

I’m about to be a senior in high school and my school calculates gpa on a scale where A=4 A-=3.7 B+=3.3 B=3 B-=2.7 and so on. I know the UC’s use a scale of A=4 B=3 C=2 D=1, but is this how all other colleges do it, or do some do it like my school?
