High Schooler Looking For Online College Classes For Free?

I’m in the 10th grade right now. I’d like to find an online college that I can apply for, for free, to get my college generals done, (or at least get a head start on). Would it be possible for me to take these classes while I am still in high school? Would the school provide the laptop for free? Would my credits transfer to most other universities? Any ideas for what online college?

(If it helps, I live in the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area.)

Check with your local community college(s). Many if not most work with high schools to allow students to take courses, usually for free. Most offer some online classes. An “online college” is not what you want, since most are private institutions (so, no freebies) and most are geared toward adults working toward specific degrees.

It is usually true that you need to provide your own computer and internet access, but some colleges offer loan programs if you qualify.

What i suggest is that start off with doing some research on online colleges, as you might not know most online colleges are not accredited. Kindly consult the university which you want to ended up in ask them if they take the online college credit transfer or not. Becareful when you are searching for online colleges

For your second question – FREE online college course. Basically there are none from what i know, due to the fact that online colleges are normally dirt cheap and scholarship or other form of financial aids are normally not available. Thus its a NO for your answer

    Just my 2 cents
