Good Wisconsin for Colleges Computer Field?

I’m all most sure I want to work in the computer field, and I need to pick colleges to apply for. I curently live in Wi and sort of want to stay close to home (but accually living in the state isn’t that big of a deal to me as long as it’s realitivly close). I am a junior and currently have a 3.6ish gpa but I kind of messed around freshman years so my cumulitive gpa is only a 2.75 but that will continue to increase. My act was a 30, but I am retaking it and I expect a higher score. I was just starting wonder what schools should I be looking at for when I start applying.

Note: I’m also considering a tec colleges.

Any advice is greatly apreciated.

If you can pull your grades up and get at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA by the time you graduate high school, and you do still want to do something with computers in the Wisconsin area, then I suggest University of Wisconsin, Stout. UW-Stout is located in Menomonie, WI which is a small community in comparison to some other places in the University of Wisconsin system, but it is a great school for anything science related due to the fact that it is considered a polytechnic school and a lot of the classes involve hands on learning.
