What do colleges think of early graduation?

Question by emd1021: What do colleges think of early graduation?
I was deeply considering graduation high school in about 3 1/2 years but my boyfriend told me that colleges generally don’t like early graduates, it almost looks like that the student just did the bare minimum to graduate high school. Do they really think that? If I took several AP classes + summer school would it look better?

Taking honors and AP level classes always looks good to colleges. Would you go to college that spring semester then? waiting till the following fall to start school is a long time away from school work. It is hard enough to adjust to college work. Taking AP level classes is going to prepare you for that.
